Introduction to Multi-Door Courthouse - Court Information Centre

Multi-Door Courthouse (MDC)
The multi-Door courthouse - Court Information Centre (MDC-CIC), introduced on 2 May 1998, is an innovation in the Singapore judicial system.

  1. What is the MDC-CIC?
It is a one-stop service centre. It answers questions and provides information with respect, among other things, the services of the Subordinate Courts.

  2. Why establish such a centre?
It is to meet the increasing demand from the community organisations and members of the public for an informed choice about:

    a. dispute-prevention measures
    b. dispute-resolution avenues

In this context, the MDC-CIC seeks to provide you with a choice of how, whne and where to have your dispute resolved.
